Tayrin Cardenas Wittenstein

CEO & Founding Attorney

Tayrin Cárdenas Wittenstein is the founder, CEO, and lead criminal defense attorney at Cárdenas Witt Law. As a proud graduate of The University of Texas School of Law and a former prosecutor, Tayrin brings over 15 years of diverse legal experience to the table. She began her career on the other side of the courtroom, prosecuting cases for the State, but soon realized her true calling was in defense, standing up for the rights of individuals, especially those who are often overlooked or underserved. This realization led her to take a bold leap: she opened her own law firm and built it from the ground up with a mission to fight fearlessly for her clients.

Tayrin is also the first in her family to attend law school, a milestone that has shaped her fierce sense of responsibility, humility, and purpose. She knows firsthand the weight of paving new paths and uses that experience to connect deeply with her clients and their families.

Known for her powerful courtroom presence, strategic precision, and unwavering compassion, Tayrin has earned a reputation as a fearless advocate who doesn’t back down. Whether she’s negotiating with prosecutors or standing before a jury, she fights with both heart and skill to secure the best outcome possible.

Outside the courtroom, Tayrin is a passionate leader in her community. She speaks regularly at women-led conferences, supports civic initiatives, mentors aspiring attorneys, and collaborates with prosecutors, judges, and advocacy organizations to create lasting change in the justice system. Her commitment to ethical practice and client-centered defense is the heartbeat of Cárdenas Witt Law’s mission: to defend, empower, and protect—one case, one client, and one life at a time.
